Dr. Tommy L. Frederick, Apostle

a native of Charleston, SC.  He accepted Jesus Christ as a teenager.  After he rededicated his life, as an adult, a foundation for ministry began.  He married his childhood sweetheart Angela, the Love of his life, in June 1980.  He is an Air Force veteran; he served his country for 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant.  He received numerous awards and decorations during his career.
Apostle Tommy’s experiences, assignments, leadership and discipline in the Air Force primarily prepared him for church ministry leadership.  During those times, he volunteered and was assigned to different ministries within the local churches he attended.  He was content to serve within the local church until he was called to outreach ministry.  He then formed a singing ministry; One Accord, in August 1987.  Many live were impacted through concerts, recordings, preaching, and prison ministry.  Apostle Tommy later answered the call to plant a local church.  He, along with his wife Angela, found Love Covenant Church of Sumter SC, in August 1994.  He was affirmed and commissioned as an Apostle in August 2008 by his Father in the Faith Apostle LaFayette Scales.
In addition to his assignment as Senior Apostle of Love Covenant Church, Apostle Tommy has a passion to teach and empower people using biblical principles in any forum.  He is Owner and President of Kingdom Properties in Sumter, SC.  He has a Bachelor of Theology Degree, a Master of Theology Degree and a Doctor of Ministry Degree with a concentration in Leadership and Discipleship.  His ministerial associations include Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association, in which he serves as the Vice-President of the Executive Board, (Dr. James Adams, President). Apostle Tommy also serves as an Executive Board member of the Sumter County Ministerial Alliance (SMA) and member of the Network of Local Churches (NLC) (Dr. LaFayette Scales, Apostle).  As a community leader, he has hosted community wide Men Events and Leadership Luncheons.  He serves as a Mentor and Advisor in the Sumter County Public School District and the Sumter Citizen Task Force.  Apostle Tommy is a Spiritual Father and mentor to many sons and daughters.
He has three married children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
